The website for the National Association of Conservation Districts provides news and information for and about the nation's conservation districts.
The nursery is owned and operated by the North Dakota Association of Soil Conservation Districts.  Here you can view many of the species available to you as well as see pictures and descriptions of the trees.
The North Dakota State Soil Conservation Committee is the state agency responsible for administering the soil conservation district program.
A good resource for finding out the soil type of any given piece of land, useful as a planning tool
